After
an internal project team and two other consulting firms failed to deliver,
this large
US utility sought out MJT. The collections organization was operating
without direction and attempts to right ship were met with resistance both
in management, represented and unrepresented workers. The only common
denominator was view that nothing could be done. MJT established common
ground with management, workers and unions and delivered a persuasive
business case that lead to a pilot project.
Cash flow increased an approximate $18 million with virtually no additional
resources. Applicable avoided interest was $805,000.

In the sixth month of a sixth month project, this large UK
utility client dismissed their UK consultants and sought out MJT on a merger
related transformation project. The client’s billing and collection’s
organization was floundering without direction and stagnant under
bureaucratic weight. MJT stepped in from a zero start and delivered
its recommendations six weeks later to overwhelming acceptance having
identified
£5.8 million ($10.4 million US) estimated annual benefits.
